Communicate with Precinct Officials over e-mail, phone, and in-person to answer questions about work assignments, pay rates, training, and election procedures. Perform weekly data audits to ensure that data in the internal Precinct Official database is accurate and kept up to date. | | | | | | | | |
Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Recruit and assign Precinct Officials to work at all Wake County’s Election Day polling places. Monitor each polling place’s staffing level daily and assign emergency Precinct Officials as needed. Audit and process the pay sheet from each polling place after Election Day. | 1 | 60% | • | Respond to in-person, e-mail, and phone inquiries from current and prospective Precinct Officials. Make outbound phone calls to determine Precinct Officials’ work availability and job interests. Help Precinct Officials in registering for training and/or completing online training. | 2 | 25% | • | Maintain database of current and former Precinct Officials and early voting workers. Perform data audits to ensure Precinct Official data is accurate and up to date. | 3 | 10% | • | Recruit and assign Precinct Officials to work during early voting. Coordinate with a temporary staffing agency to onboard all assigned early voting workers. Compile worker timesheets on a weekly basis. | 4 | 5% | | | | | | | |
