Primary Purpose

Plans, designs, implements, executes, oversees, controls and brings to closure programs that are administered by Capital Area Workforce Development.

 

Essential Functions

 

 

Priority

•

Coordinates and oversees all program activities from implementation to closeout

Ensures all program rules and regulations, including federal, state, and local policies, are followed regarding the program

Ensures accurate data collection and submits reports as required

•

Provides technical assistance to service providers as applicable

Serves as the liaison between all stakeholders

Works with the financial staff to ensure the budget for the program stays on track and within compliance

Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management.

 


Additional Responsibilities

•

Provides support to the Capital Area Workforce Development Board's strategic goals and activities as needed.


*IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.

Qualifications


Required Education

•

Associate's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field


Required Experience

Two years of job-related experience

Ability to coordinate and administer programs, activities and protocols.
