Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Cleans and maintains kennels according to standard operating procedures. Observes animals and reports any signs of illness, injury or behavioral changes. Provides daily feeding, enrichment and ensures fresh, clean water is always available. | 1 | 60% | • | Communicates with and assists visitors to the animal center with animal adoption, animal transfer/foster and animal reclaims. Provides feedback on animals within the shelter and assists with visitors meeting animals available for adoption. | 2 | 25% | • | Performs facility upkeep. Processes laundry, cleans and disinfects communal areas, maintains and cleans equipment for animal feeding and care, sorts donations and organizes feed and supplies. | 3 | 15% | | | | | | | |
