Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Manages and administers contracts associated with County solid waste operations | 1 | 20% | • | Manages specific solid waste personnel and programs and operations as assigned | 2 | 25% | • | Enforces federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to solid waste management, specifically regarding air quality and/or water quality | 3 | 20% | • | Works with consultants/engineers on project expansions and reports | 4 | 15% | • | Monitors and inspects work activities to ensure proper procedures, methods, and safety standards are being followed. Makes appropriate changes to standard operating procedures | 5 | 10% | • | Reviews current programs and cost analysis data relating to municipal solid waste management to improve efficiencies in the operation | 6 | 10% | | | | | | | |
