Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Administers contracts associated with County solid waste & recycling operations | 1 | 25% | • | Manages specific solid waste programs and operations as assigned | 2 | 30% | • | Responds to public inquiries in a professional and tactful manner | 3 | 15% | • | Monitors and inspects work activities to ensure proper procedures, methods, and safety standards are being followed. Makes appropriate changes to standard operating procedures. | 4 | 10% | • | Reviews current programs and cost analysis data relating to municipal solid waste management to improve efficiencies in the operation. | 5 | 10% | • | Works with consultants/engineers and other local governments on various waste and recycling initiatives. | 6 | 10% | | | | | | | |
