Writes and issues well permits. Conducts well inspections to ensure proper construction and regulatory requirements are met. Collects samples for water quality of private and semi-public wells. Consults with residents with regard to well inspections, sampling, down hole video investigations, and advice on water quality issues. Conducts research and collects samples and data related to groundwater complaint investigations. Inspects swimming pools to permit them annually. Staffs disaster shelters as needed.
