Primary Purpose

Manages and administers the Computer Aided Facility Management System (CAFM), which is the single trusted resource for the county's space and occupancy data, moves, land and property, assets and equipment inventories, room scheduling and hoteling applications. Collaborates across all (5) major GSA operating divisions to provide and collect relevant data including as-built drawings and develop business documentation, including workflows, in order to identify technical solutions and business process improvements that align with the business strategy.

Generates, publishes and maintains record AutoCAD drawings into CAFM for new buildings and update existing floorplans based on renovations by applying working knowledge of office space categorization and polylining principles (BOMA/IFMA). Establishes and performs data/drawing audits on quarterly basis to ensure portfolio accuracy.

Assists customers countywide with move, add and change (MAC) requests to ensure timely delivery of services. Ensures personnel locations and departmental allocations are accurately recorded in the database. Supports Facilities Planner/Analyst and Moves and Warehouse Operations Supervisor by providing drawings for work orders/project related initiatives and related ad-hoc reports.

Supervises and facilitates CAFM application by testing and implementing required configurations and enhancements. Establishes and maintains departmental workflow rules and processes, considering critical internal controls. Performs bi-weekly data integrity audits across space and occupancy modules and corrects where required. Creates and maintains CAFM system documentation to provide foundation for future improvements.

Collaborates and supports all (5) operating divisions within GSA by providing ad-hoc reporting and CAFM solutions to include but not limited to: building assets, system components, architectural finishes, lease documentation and other interfaces.

Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
