Works independently or leads a team to complete maintenance, perform repair or replacement to heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, piping systems and related devices in Wake County facilities as directed by Team Lead and/or Supervisor. Performs preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability of building infrastructure. Performs required testing of HVAC and related systems. Performs and completes daily routine, corrective and preventative maintenance as well as emergency work orders as assigned including non-functional HVAC systems, leaky pipes, pump failures, etc. Escorts contractors performing work within Wake County facilities. Reports daily activities to Trades Specialist (team lead) and/or Trades Supervisor. Enters information on work orders including time, materials and field notes on maintenance and repairs into GSA's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). | | | | | | | | |

Records work tasks completed with required data in the work order management system (Maximo).
