Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Performs day to day supervision by providing direction to staff, analysis of section business practices, review of budget and spending requests, facilitation of staff moves and workflow efficiency, application of local and state policies and regulations, and resolution of issues related to staff and customers. | 1 | 30% | • | Manages the zoning and subdivision administration by applying land use regulations and policies in the review and approval development process. Interprets and applies the zoning and subdivision ordinance and administers amendments to the development ordinance. | 2 | 25% | • | Manages a professional staff involved in the application and enforcement of the county's land development regulations. Performs employee performance evaluations and resolves employee conduct issues. | 3 | 15% | • | Meets with property owners, developers and design professionals on land use proposals. Provides suggestions on alternate designs and petition amendments to ensure compliance.
