Works in an intense and demanding environment and is expected to think creatively, manage operating and capital budgets and respond rapidly to a constant influx of demands. Provides leadership and supervision for activities pertaining to the maintenance and repair of all County physical, environmental and life safety systems, and capital assets. Provides administrative and technical supervision with responsibility for inspecting the facility regularly for maintenance needs and safety hazards and provides oversight and guidance on life-cycle data for all building systems. Works with staff regarding code compliance including ADA, energy management and facility condition issues. | | | | | | | | |

Administers all division projects, professional service and service maintenance contracts. | 2 | 30% | • | Prepares, bids and administers contracts for division maintenance, renovation, alteration or repair work. Reviews all aspects of new building design during the planning and review stage. Assists with field inspections, punch out and acceptance of all new buildings. Develops and monitors capital and operating budgets. | 3 | 20% | • | Supervises assigned staff by coaching, providing direction for employees, approving timesheets and conducting performance reviews. | 4 | 10% | | | | | | | |

Additional Responsibilities | • | Responds to adverse weather events and emergency response operations as required for essential employees. Cleans up and restores county properties after damage due to natural events, civil protests, or other unplanned events. | | | |
