Directs, organizes, and supervises Plans and Permits Technicians to ensure adherence to quality standards, customer service expectations, deadlines, and established procedures while correcting errors or problems. Routinely engages with technical subject matter experts to ensure adequate training and documentation for staff and manages process changes. | | | | | | | | |

Determines staff schedules to maintain coverage. Ensures that staff assignments are executed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner, provides employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems, resolves escalated complaints, and answers questions requiring knowledge of a variety of policies and procedures. | 1 | 40% | • | Manages administrative support for the Water Quality, Environmental Health and Safety, and Solid Waste Divisions including collaborating to resolve customer concerns, providing input on process changes, planning for adjustments to workloads, communicating capacity, and coordinating refund, ordering, and equipment service requests. | 2 | 30% | • | Develops and coordinates training for permanent and temporary staff. | 3 | 15% | • | Manages Call Center functions and reporting. | 4 | 15% | | | | | | | |
