Provides supervisory support for a comprehensive security program for the County which includes electronic, physical, and personnel security. Reviews existing policies, procedures, and operations and make recommendations for improvement. Supervises the security officer contract which includes review of monthly invoices and gathering supporting information for annual budget planning. Supports key and hardware program and ID Badge access process. Oversees security center operations to include CCTV, card access, alarm systems, and audit of such systems. Conducts security post audits to include x-ray and screening operations and tests knowledge/proficiency of contract security staff. Maintains contact through various customer service efforts with all customers. Conducts various audits of security procedures, policies, and prepares reports. Requires local travel and available for emergency situations 24/7. | | | | | | | | |

Conducts various audits on security procedures and policies, and prepares reports as directed. Conducts security post audits to include x-ray and screening operations, and tests knowledge and proficiency of contract security staff. | 1 | 35% | • | Oversees security center operations to include CCTV, card access and badging, alarm systems, and audits of such systems., Conducts various audits on security equipment, procedures and policies and prepares reports as directed. | 2 | 30% | • | Supports Access Control process by working with Locksmith and Access Control Specialist. Works with Locksmith on key and lock control program to include issuing, ordering and collecting keys, assigning master keying scheme, key audits, and coordinating door hardware and keys for renovation/new construction. Assists Access Control Specialists by issuing ID Badges, assigning access, and conducting badge audits. | 3 | 15% | • | Supports investigations by reviewing security incident reports, conducting interviews, and viewing recorded video. Assists with video requests from other County departments, the public and/or law enforcement. Assists with restoring county properties after damage due to natural events, civil protests, or other unplanned events. | | | |
