Primary Purpose

Supports child care subsidy providers, case managers, supervisors, and Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) by monitoring and performing audits of payments. Conducts educational and compliance visits to ensure providers are adhering to local, state, and federal rules and regulations governing the child care subsidy program.  Conducts training sessions to provide policy recommendations when necessary.

Analyzes, reconciles, and monitosr Child Care Subsidy Payments, care plans, provider financials, and provider payment rosters.

Performs regulatory compliance monitoring & education of vendors and clients, including vendor on-site visits.

Assists with case management requests for provider information.

Conducts alleged fraud investigations and follow federal, state, and local regulations.

Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management.

 


Additional Responsibilities

•

Creates, analyzes, and reviews financial and compliance reports with Managers and Leadership team.

•

Provides coverage for unit staff during absences.

•

Appears as hearing officers in the appeals process.

•

Other duties as assigned.

•

Participatea in, complete program, department, division and  county trainings, both optional and required.


*IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
