Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Interviews, selects and trains staff. Participates in performance reviews, Discusses job performance concerns with employees to identify causes/issues and to work on resolutions. Determines staff schedules and resolves staffing issues. Oversees payroll/timesheet processing for assigned staff. | 1 | 20% | • | Provides/oversees information communicated to the general public or customers. Provides employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems. Resolves escalated complaints and answers questions requiring in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures. | 2 | 25% | • | Monitors daily work activities. Reviews records or reports pertaining to staff work assignments to verify policies, procedures and guidelines were followed. Verifies transaction accuracy. Conducts quality assurance reviews. | 3 | 30% | • | Performs a variety of administrative and office functions. Reconciles transactions and claims, and reports any discrepancies. Develops and submits regularly scheduled reports to supervisor. Works on special projects as assigned. | 4 | 20% | • | Inventories materials and supplies.
