Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Works closely with business leaders across all areas of the organization to enhance business decision making capabilities through data and technology. Analyzes complex data structures and relationships while designing and developing prototypes for complex, multi-dimensional reports. Leads a team of senior managers and technical leads to provide high quality data, reporting, and analytics solutions. Promotes data analytics as a discipline within Wake County Human Services. Delivers presentations and training to business users to raise awareness of the value of data analytics as a standard practice for decision-making. | 1 | 25% | • | Participates in requirements gathering and program meetings to identify opportunities for new BI insights, areas where BI will add greater value, or where current reports can be updated to provide better information. | 2 | 20% | • | Understands business requirements, anticipates future requirements, and guides team members to develop data models and solutions that support business questions/needs and promote data quality and agility. | 3 | 20% | • | Supports various reporting needs via dashboards - including marketing performance and ROI from campaign analytics subscription business including acquisition of new consumers, engagement and retention. | 4 | 15% | • | Monitors Business Intelligence and data management technology trends and introduces innovative solutions to meet business needs. | 5 | 10% | • | Consistently provides subject matter expertise to business unit leaders & staff to improve reporting efficiency and on usage of new tools with feasibility. | 6 | 10% | | | | | | | |
