Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Ensures accurate and timely payment to employees including overseeing and assisting in the validation of semi-monthly payroll before finalized. Monitors timesheet approvals and employment actions that impact pay | 1 | 25% | • | Serves as lead for payroll-related systems including troubleshooting, testing, system enhancements, and training. Communicates changes in payroll-related systems and policies to the organization | 2 | 30% | • | Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll-related reports. Monitors, reconciles, and troubleshoots payroll records while ensuring accurate and timely report submissions | 3 | 15% | • | Consults and advises employees, hiring managers, and senior leadership on payroll-related policies and procedures. Develops and updates policies and recommends revisions to associated forms and procedures as needed. Oversee training and communication of unit's policies and procedures | 4 | 10% | • | Creates and oversees team’s workflow and required tasks. Defines goals, communicates objectives and monitors team performance.
