Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Delivers direct patient care including, but not limited to, necessary preventative, restorative, and emergency dental treatment; generates treatment plans; counsels on oral health education for patients and parents; assesses for specialist referrals as needed; remove decay; contour, restoration, extraction, and replacement of teeth; placement of filling materials; treatmeant of gum diseases | 1 | 90% | • | Executes administrative responsibilities to includes but is not limited to ensures proper documentation required for clinical notes and dental chart; ensures informed consents obtained for necessary dental treatments; ensures encounters and charges are set complete and accurate for services provided; coordinates and assists Dental Director in development of clinical activities and protocols | 2 | 5% | • | Supervises dental assistants and dental hygienists in delivery of dental care; supervise any rotating dental, dental assisting or dental hygiene students | 3 | 5% | | | | | | | |
