Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Directs clinical nursing care, infection control activities and pharmacy management and utilization ensuring compliance with established regulations, protocols, procedures and accreditation standards. | 1 | 30% | • | Provides direct supervision to Detention Nurse Supervisors and staff ensuring appropriate assessment, treatment and documentation. | 2 | 20% | • | Maintains and communicates nursing policies, procedures, quality assurance/improvement program, and accreditation standards to staff to assure compliance. | 3 | 20% | • | Communicates with the Medical Director and providers regarding residents needs and problems. | 4 | 10% | • | Serves as a problem-solving resource for nursing staff on resident's issues. | 5 | 10% | • | Communicates with families, detention center, medical and other outside facilities for continuity of care. | 6 | 10% | | | | | | | |
