Primary Purpose

Reduces infant mortality and morbidity by helping link women with resources and support so they may have healthy planned births.

 

Essential Functions

 

 

Priority

•

Educates clients in English and Spanish who are interested in MCH services such as a Vasectomy Program.

Completes daily data entry assignments and all tasks associated with this assignment.

Completes all required programmatic reports.

•

Monitors Maternal & Child Health mailbox and dispatches all inquiries to proper program within minimum of 48 hour follow-up.

Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management.

 

*IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
