Primary Purpose

Supervises staff to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems. Ensures adequate training in order to provide services.

Establishes work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space and equipment availability.

Provides excellent customer service skills to work through issues raised by the key stakeholders of the assigned projects. Assist in resolving concerns as appropriate.

•

Acts as a liaison between patients, consulting physician, referring physician or outside agency to coordinate patient appointments, admission, or surgery. Will coordinate the exchange of information either written or verbal before and after patients are seen.

Leads, directs and reviews the work of team members in order to accomplish business unit plans and results.

Attends management, staff and VPA meetings and in-services.

Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management.

 


Additional Responsibilities

•

Occasionally works at the front desk to assist front-line staff and to ensure there is proper coverage when staff is out of the clinic


*IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.

Qualifications


Required Education

High school diploma or GED
