Primary Purpose

Provides program oversight for a court mandated drug treatment program which serves high-risk high-need individuals diagnosed with mental health and substance use disorders. Performs contract management, grant writing and management, budget oversight, data collection and provides direct supervision of staff who provide case management for program participants.

Manages daily functions of Recovery Court. Performs budgets and contracts management, processes invoices, updates and maintains policy, procedure, and memorandums of understanding, attends weekly team staffings and court sessions. Manages oversight of bus tickets and gift cards for participant distribution.

Supervises Human Services Social Workers and interns.

Researches, writes and manages awarded local and federal grants for program sustainability.

Collaborates and establishes partnerships with community organizations.

Reviews candidate referrals and verifies eligibility.

Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management.

 

*IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
