Primary Purpose

The Clinical Operations Manager partners with the clinical leadership team to develop programs, procedures, and standards; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This job oversees and manages budgets and participates in pertinent stakeholder meetings.  It also manages clinical, professional, administrative, and office support staff.

Practice Management-

Oversees budget, billing, marketing, communications and strategic management of clinical services.

Staff Supervision-

Directs nursing supervisors, patient access supervisors, and lead providers within clinic.  Additionally, provides supervision and management to all clinic staff assigned to their appointed clinics.

Operations-

Ensures the successful operations of all clinics assigned, including facilities and ordering and expense management.

•

Compliance-

Provides regulatory management of staff through Human Resources policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal laws and guidelines including OSHA, HIPAA, EEO, fire safety, MSDS hazards, confidentiality, security and privacy.

Professional Development-

Ensures all staff members are provided the appropriate training related to clinical systems and best practices.

Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management.

 

*IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
