Promotes the NC Immunization Registry to Wake County Medical Providers and supports Wake County Human Services staff that uses the North Carolina Immunization Registry (NCIR) in their daily work. Supports the Public Health Division in the event of disease outbreak, natural or man-made disasters, or other public health initiatives as indicated. | | | | | | | | |
Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Assesses patient electronic medical records for immunization compliance. Contacts private provider offices for information as indicated. Contacts parent or guardian by telephone or mail for patient compliance and gather information. Completes reports and prepare for Annual Assessment by the North Carolina Immunization Program each October. | 1 | 40% | • | Provides North Carolina Immunization Registry training and support to Wake County staff via telephone and in person to ensure continuous access to the system. | 2 | 30% | • | Participates in targeted community projects in the role of Registrar or Registration Coordinator as needed or indicated. Assists to achieve a good workflow during mass immunization events or emergency response. | 3 | 15% | • | Collaborates and assists clinics and programs by providing file management and data processing and analysis as indicated or requested.
