Primary Purpose

Helps manage the County's financial information and enterprise resource planning systems, including the financial components of the County's ERP system (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Capital Assets, Procurement, Vendor Self-Service, and 1099 Process.) Manage the operations, maintenance and enhancement of the Finance related Electronic Content Management system. Perform application upgrades, enhancements and changes as requested. Coordinate with vendors for installation, support and design work. Log and resolve requests, track progress and provide status updates.  Assist end-users with the use of application, including facilitating training.

Implements the Finance Department related processes within the County's Electronic Content Management System. Plans, designs, tests, and manages the electronic contracts process and electronic employee travel reimbursement process, as well as oversee new business processes related to electronic content management.

Assists in the management of financial system applications used as part of the Finance business operations, including County's Financial ERP System (AP, AR, Procurement, FA, 1099, and VSS). Monitor and maintain interfaces to and from Budget, Tax Administration Billing and Collections, Register of Deeds, and other systems that store financial data.  Ensures data integrity. Collaborates with systems team and business owners to test existing and new functionality, issue recreation, and documentation.

*IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
