Partner with the Applications Development Senior Manager in setting the technical direction, architecture and design management and collaboration platform environments. Design, develop, manage and troubleshoot application systems of medium to high complexity. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for Information Services and the County related to applications development and support. | | | | | | | | |
Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Manage work group team, coach and direct the activities of work group team members, encourage staff professional development and exploration of emerging technologies. Responsible for recruitment, interviewing and selection of new group members and contractors, development of individual work plans and training plans for group members. Responsible for the preparation of performance evaluations for group members. | 1 | 20% | • | Collaborate with the development senior manager, ensure a consistent methodology, skill set, and development approach when developing applications by prescribing the use of standard tools and frameworks. | 2 | 10% | • | Perform application development of .Net applications. | 3 | 40% | • | Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation and support information for all applications and set and manage the future roadmap for all applications. | 4 | 10% | • | Conduct regular code reviews and establish code review processes for team members to participate in reviewing other team members code.
