Understand the functional requirements of the business unit to deliver solutions that align with needs. Maintain a strong working knowledge of business unit and enterprise applications to ensure compatibility and availability. Perform application upgrades and patches in alignment with change management processes. Coordinate with vendors for installation, support and design work. Contribute to the completion of projects by participating in meetings, proactively communicating requirements and meeting schedule deliverables. Log and assign requests, track progress and maintain open communication with customers and IT peers. Serve as subject matter expert and provide customer consultation, training and support to facilitate adoption of technology. | | | | | | | | |
Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Administer, support, troubleshoot and monitor business unit IT systems to meet business needs and requirements. | 1 | 25% | • | Configure, test, deploy and maintain system applications, upgrades and patches ensuring that interfaces between other business applications remain functional. Create documentation for administrative tasks, change management and configuration settings. | 2 | 25% | • | Serve as subject matter expert, providing business unit consultation and training for supported IT systems. Maintain working knowledge of business unit IT Systems, product roadmaps, and feature updates. | 3 | 20% | • | Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements. Coordinate changes and updates and track trouble tickets escalated to vendors. | 4 | 10% | • | Serve as project lead or resource for IT projects associated with supported business unit. Proactively communicate project schedules and logistics with customers and peers, participate in meetings and provide technical input. | 5 | 10% | • | Enhance personal proficiency and knowledge of county information systems and technology.
