Primary Purpose

Provides analytical solutions to departments across the enterprise and mentors other analysts in best practices and governance. Interprets data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provides ongoing reports and dashboards.

 

Essential Functions

Develops and publishes Power BI reports and dashboards while following the established guidelines and best practices for analytics development and data quality.

Works closely with the departmental business analysts and subject matter experts to understand the requirements and translate that into a reporting solution.

Delivers clear, insightful interpretation of available data.

Develops and updates technical documentation and supports analytical tool environment.

Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management.

Qualifications


Required Education

•

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field


Required Experience

•

Four years of experience in data analytics the administration and support of enterprise data management program tools and processes


Qualification Equivalency

•

Equivalent education and experience are accepted


Preferred Licenses and Certifications

•

MCSE (Business Intelligence)

 

 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•

Knowledge of data management and optimization best practices.

•

Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications to design, build and deploy business analysis solutions.

•

Strong knowledge and experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries and building Business Intelligence reports.

•

Ability to communicate and work with business subject matter experts and organizational leadership.

•

Ability to communicate technical information well, both written and oral, and make effective public presentations.
