Oversee all aspects of project execution, using best practice project management methodology. Responsible for assuring projects are on-budget, on-time, and delivered with the expected value to the stakeholders and sponsors. | | | | | | | | |
Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Provide project management for Information Services and business unit initiatives. Maintain all project deliverables including project scope, requirement changes, and objectives, scheduling, communications, risk management/ mitigation, issue management, and status reporting. | 1 | 45% | • | Manage procurement, including contract negotiation, expense monitoring, and vendor adherence to timelines. | 2 | 25% | • | Anticipate operational and tactical risks and track them. Remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to sponsors where required. | 3 | 15% | • | Provide leadership to the project's participants and stakeholders, including managing expectations, conducting meetings, maintaining timelines, communicating needs, and providing clear information. | 4 | 10% | • | Enhance personal proficiency and knowledge of county information systems and technology.
