The primary purpose of the Library Assistant is to: • Provide external or internal customer service; • Assist the Library Manager with library operations; • Under the direction of a Librarian, assist with or present programs to adults and children • Provide assistance to the Selection Manager and Selectors for the ordering, receiving and distribution of library materials • Work with the Senior Librarians in Library Awareness to create and distribute public relations materials, as well as maintain social media and patron feedback forums such as Facebook and AskWCPL | | | | | | | | |
