Primary Purpose

Assists the Human Services Records Supervisor on the operations of assigned work unit/location.  Ensures continuity during the initial and ongoing training of assigned staff. Works cooperatively with Program managers, program supervisors, and staff on the creation and management of department records.  Assures that staff follow and meet departmental standards related to work-flow efficiencies and operations on an ongoing basis. Ensures records/information assets are available to support customer services in a confidential, secure environment.

Assists the Human Services Records Supervisor with assigned work unit/location operations and ensures staff maintains a positive customer service attitude.

Coordinates staffing and procedural issues with the Human Services Records Supervisor.

•

Designs work schedules and covers the schedule for call-ins on a daily basis.

•

Evaluates staff performance and accurately measures productivity and quality measures and assures that staff are following and meeting departmental standards.

•

Provides training, follow up and corrective action to staff as needed.

•

Responds to staff inquiries, provides information and/or direction and discusses and resolves any issues and/or problems.

•

Checks, documents and reports scanning and indexing Quality Assurance results for Department of Social Services Records.

•

Contributes to fulfilling the subpoenas, court orders and other releases related to social services records' information.

Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management.

 


Additional Responsibilities

•

Handles the ordering of Customer Support Program's supplies.


*IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.

Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field
