Primary Purpose

Supervises, guides, and supports Case Aides in the provision of supportive services Child Welfare consumers, social workers, and supervisors.  Develops, initiates, establishes and communicates scheduling and operational standards. Ensures that staff have the necessary tools (training, staffing and supervision meetings, coaching sessions) to do their jobs effectively.

Acts as a member of the Child Welfare Supervisor’s Team

Develops and Facilitates Groups, Trainings (Staff Development); and workshops for staff ; Attends planning and development meetings with WCHS partners and community partners; acts as liaison with partners in Wake County; networking; telephone calls; increase and maintain current knowledge of resources available to consumers

Ensures scheduled maintenances of county-owned property (i.e. facilities, vehicles, etc.) is completed; maintain contact with County GSA to address concerns.

Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management.

 

*IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
