Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Actively participate in the Field Training and Evaluation Program (FTEP.) Maintain routine communications with both Field Training Officers and trainees. Participate in interval evaluations. Develop, evaluate and implement Performance Improvement Plans for trainees. Administrate software programs and databases directly related to the FTEP program. | 1 | 35% | • | Manage the testing portion of the field staff hiring process by working with candidates to complete system entry. Create reports based on testing results and collaborate with others during the process. | 2 | 30% | • | Manage clinical rider scheduling for the EMS department with a specific focus on internal initial education programs. Communicate with educational institutions as a primary point of contact. Coordinate with EMS department scheduling office to ensure smooth scheduling practices. Coordinate with preceptors and provide guidance as needed. | 3 | 15% | • | Ensure new employees receive all uniforms and personal protective equipment with appropriate education and compliance documents completed. Maintain a database of employee onboarding and academy paperwork associated with personally issued equipment and materials Coordinate with the Support Services and Compliance officer. Prepare reports and presents on program related data. Communicate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. | 4 | 5% | • | Provide necessary progressive discipline, including coaching and formal measures. Draft employee evaluations, coordinate investigations and act as a mediator.
