Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Consults with supervisors and leadership on human resources best practices, processes, policies and services | 1 | 20% | • | Coaches with departmental leaders in the preparation of disciplinary forms and documents and reviews actions to ensure compliance. Ensures high-quality documentation and recording of employee relations actions | 2 | 20% | • | Provides performance management guidance, coaching, and training of supervisors to include the performance evaluation process, performance improvement, discipline, compliance with employment laws, and separation process | 3 | 15% | • | Collaborates with supervisors, managers, and leadership to identify areas for proactive HR training and guidance ensuring that training objectives are achieved | 4 | 15% | • | Reviews position descriptions and classification requests and consults with supervisors to ensure business case justification before submitting to centers of excellence | 5 | 10% | • | Consults on background checks and rescinded employment offers | 6 | 10% | • | Provides support and consultation with workforce planning, organizational development, and change management | 7 | 10% | | | | | | | |
