Performs all duties of Animal Health Care Receiving Technicians, including duties associated with animal husbandry, preventative healthcare, humane handling, intake exams, administering medications, pathway planning and humane euthanasia. | | | | | | | | |

Assigns tasks such as animal husbandry, preventative healthcare, humane animal handling and humane euthanasia. | 1 | 40% | • | Performs intake exams and administers preventative healthcare, as needed, to all animals coming into the animal center. Determines pathway placement for all incoming animals. Reviews provided documentation regarding ownership, medical history or turnover. Contacts and communicates with possible owners of stray animals. Ensures all findings are accurately documented within the shelter data management system. | 2 | 40% | • | Creates and oversees workflow and required tasks of direct reports. Defines goals, communicates objectives and monitors performance. Manages all hiring, onboarding activities, employee development, performance and timesheet approvals. | 3 | 10% | • | Oversee population management including reviewing animals' pathways frequently for optimal live release.
