Provides consultation and direction to ensure programs and services are implemented at the highest standards and patients receive the highest level of care. Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Directs, supervises, trains and evaluates the work activities of the Quality Assurance Reviewer and provides feedback on performance. Provides on the job training and support to new staff who have completed classroom policy training in the NC Electronic Disease Surveillance System (NCEDSS) and provides ongoing instruction as directed on new policies, policy clarifications or on policy/procedure identified through the QA process. Provides refresher training as needed for experienced staff who need extra assistance. | 1 | 40% | • | Provides technical guidance regarding data entries and documentation into the North Carolina Electronic Disease Surveillance System and does periodic review of data for timeliness and accuracy with little deficiencies. | 2 | 20% | • | Serves on the Quality Assurance Improvement Committee, Professional Advisory Committee and other committees as assigned. | 3 | 10% | • | Supports Communicable Disease Manager with monitoring and improving service quality by the use of spreadsheets, audits, reports and analysis of data. | 4 | 20% | • | Maintains professional and personal staff development and education to gain and keep experience updated. | 5 | 10% | | | | | | | |
