Collaborates with Budget & Management Analysts, the Budget Systems Manager, and BMS leadership to support the operational and analytical needs of the department. Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Maintains Budget’s Chart of Accounts, Capital Project, and Performance Plan hierarchies. Validates data from system interfaces between HR, Finance, and Budget modules. | 1 | 10% | • | Partners with end users to recreate and document any reported issues. Works with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve | 2 | 10% | • | Produces and improves tracking, projection, and validation tools for use by BMS analysts and external staff. Examples include Budget Tracker, Position Tracker, Turn-over Projections | 3 | 20% | • | Configures and executes system reports and queries | 4 | 10% | • | Performs system testing for quarterly and interim software updates | 5 | 10% | • | Assists with budget document preparation by generating proofs, validating data, and formatting documents | 6 | 10% | • | Assists Budget Systems Manager with high priority projects such as End of Year Roll-Over, Budget Year Configuration, and Salary & Benefits Forecasting | 7 | 10% | • | Creates and maintains training documentation for end users.
