Primary Purpose

Plans project workflows and guides stakeholders through the different phases of the project. Performs detailed review of project design documents to assure completeness, constructability, and compliance with county guidelines and high industry standards. Compiles and documents project deliverables and findings to inform analyses and decision-making process of the Performance and Change Management Director.

 

 

Essential Functions

Facilitates the planning, programming, and design process at the direction of the Performance and Change Management Director.

Establishes, develops requirements, schedules, resources, and strategy for assigned projects.

Serves as central point of contact between the Performance and Change Management Director and the project stakeholders, acting in the best interest of, and in communication with the end user.

•

Visits different sites to observe and collect business requirements for the units, needed for mapping and project scope.

Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management.

 


Additional Responsibilities

•

Is expected to work alongside other Health and Human Services staff to respond to natural, public health and man-made disasters and when the County Emergency Operations Center is activated during a state of emergency.


*IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
