Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Apply data analytics and computer assisted audit techniques (CAATs) such as Microsoft Power BI, Structured Query Language (SQL), and Audit Command Language (ACL) to meet Internal Audit objectives. Execute repeatable data analytics processes to provide audit assurance and improve efficiency and effectiveness. | 1 | 30% | • | Collect, process, and analyze large data sets and translate the data from disparate systems into relevant information that assists the Internal Audit team in audits, reviews, and other internal audit projects. Create reports in a format that is useful for County management in making decisions. | 2 | 40% | • | Work with all departments to identify appropriate data sources and develop custom data views and reports to achieve audit objectives. | 3 | 20% | • | Support the audit team and County departments by identifying new strategies for report design, automated and continuous data analysis, and data extraction. | 4 | 10% | | | | | | | |
