Primary Purpose

Provide supervision, administrative, and clinical leadership for a team that provides supportive services and other community-based services. Assesses developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs of clients served. Provides interventions (individual and/or group) to reduce symptoms and connects to resources. Manages day-to-day operations of the team

 

Essential Functions

Coordinate team operations and service delivery through oversite of staff. Evaluate the work of staff and ensure proper documentation and records for clients served and policies and procedures are followed.

Provide guidance and consultation on complex cases, including risk management, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.

Provide direct clinical services as needed, including counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to community resources.

Ensure that interventions are evidence-based and tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, including those with mental health disorders, substance use issues, and histories of homelessness.

Collaborate with other teams, divisions, and departments to support client, division, and department goals

Track and report outcomes relevant to division and department goals as needed.

Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management.

 

*IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency. Employee may also be required to participate in relevant exercises and regular preparedness training.
