Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Records each vehicle transaction and collects appropriate revenue | 1 | 50% | • | Performs preliminary screening of material delivered to South Wake Landfill or East Wake Transfer Station to ensure compliance with rules and regulations | 2 | 15% | • | Reports data to the Finance Department daily and prepares reports for the Solid Waste Division | 3 | 15% | • | Schedule management-Prepare monthly schedules & updates schedules for leave requests supervisor review/approval. (Supervisor will handle last-minute leave requests.) | 4 | 10% | • | Perform administrative duties including inputting daily truck totals (for both facilities) & kiosk activity (EWSH only) to spread sheet; accept and submit requests from scale house staff for GSA requests (repairs/maintenance of scale houses). | 5 | 5% | • | Process ticket copy requests from customers and assist supervisor with preparing ticket adjustment requests as needed. | 6 | 5% | | | | | | | |
Position(s) may perform other duties in addition to the above as assigned by management. | | *IMPORTANT* In the event of an emergency, as determined by the County Manager or designee, participation in preparedness and response operations should be expected. Employee may be required to fill a temporary assignment in a role different from standard duties, work hours and/or work location in preparation for, during and after the emergency.
