Processes deliver and stock supply orders at satellite regional centers in an accurate manner as well as performs detailed inventory cycle counts at different locations. Loads and unloads forklifts, equipment trailers and delivery vehicles. Assists with warehouse inventory management and stocking. Maintains a neat and clean work environment. Interacts and communicates with individuals and groups of individuals (within the Sheriff's Office, other agencies, vendors, customers and the public) from all education levels, cultural backgrounds and belief structures. Essential Functions | | | Priority | % Time | • | Collaborates with Division Heads and Section Heads on the expectations and direction to meet supply chain goals and objectives of the Sheriff's Office. Receives and interprets daily logs, e-mails, telephone calls and in-person requests related to supply needs; then evaluates, develops and prioritizes tasks for accomplishment during working hours. Reads, writes, and comprehends documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, pick tickets, and procedure manuals in English using basic math and counting skills. Adapts, problem solves and multi-tasks in a fast paced and sometimes distracting environment. Maintains a neat, organized and clean work environment. Responds to incidents with equipment and supplies to support field units as needed. | 1 | 45% | • | Issues, delivers, maintains, repairs, restocks, and orders assets, equipment, supplies, and uniforms. Creates, files, and maintains documentation of all members, purchase orders, spending, equipment, and inventory reports and records. | 2 | 25% | • | Evaluates and procures assets, equipment, supplies, and uniforms by coordinating the evaluation and procurement with vendors and agency personnel. Initiates, monitors, and manages established BID processes; facilitates vendor demos, staff testing and feedback. | 3 | 15% | • | Ensures procurement is in compliance with State, County Code, polices, and procedures by researching and staying abreast of requirements and implementing changes as appropriate.
